That's why I find it a good idea if the "reported in [message-link]" as I usually did. It is much faster to check in such cases, but I see OG's point with the length of the message... I was always getting the "this is a very long message, are you sure you want to post it?" warning of the site.

First sentence I go looking for: "Lock-free programming is a challenge, not just because of the complexity of the task itself, but because of how difficult it can be to penetrate the subject in the first place." comes up verbatim from back in 2012: An Introduction to Lock-Free Programming[^]
But the rest of it seems clean. But ... it's very unlikely that a sentence like that, complete with punctuation is anything but copy'n'paste.
I've hit it as "plagiarised" and him as "abuse", but I'm in two minds - your thoughts, please?

The rest of the article seems okay. I'm inclined to just issue him a warning about his introduction (a proper citation would suffice); this does not seem to be a pattern, his other articles did pass the moderation.
I think this would better fit as a tip/trick, though.
