why does "naming and shaming" apply to the lounge?
the lounge is international, yet this guy wants to report ebay scammers in UK
if all lounge posters posted their local scammers what does that make the forum into?
"name and shame" as a general topic fine,
but individual cases belongs elsewhere - rather the platform where the abuse is happening
(it's not as if the person was advertising their product in the lounge.)

I think you are overreacting - this isn't really any form of abuse: it isn't spam (he gains nothing form it, unless this is a profiteering competitor he's trying to shut down and I doubt that); it isn't abusive (his language is perfectly reasonable); and it's no more "off topic" than most lounge posts.
So I can't see any legitimate reason for a "spam / abuse" report on the page (though that is your right) much less one here.

If you find them in another country, I would have no problem with you reporting them.

I personally find that better than many of the bad jokes or other OTD posts that are usually posted in the lounge.

He already reported him there. But it is like our spammers / scammers here in CP. The faster other people report it, the quickier they get nuked and can't scam anyone else.
In a more general way... as long as no rule is broken, if you don't like it, just move to the next post.

Due to the name, the 8 years membership and that the rest of the messages were mostly posted in the "Press Releases" forum... I think it is better to summon the high powers and let them decide on this one

The last post was from 5 years ago. If they'd continued to stick to the spam "press release" forum, that might have been OK. But if they're going to start posting their "press releases" as articles, then they need to be kicked.
