But the question is why do you think that anyone can advise you what to choose for your final project... I mean the choice should be clearly affected by your interests and I'm afraid we don't know what they are...

So my short recommendation is to think about the areas that you find interesting and research a bit about them. This should give you few ideas what you could explore more in the targeted area and further you should discuss with your mentor about them (what you like about the idea and what you hope to achieve by the end).
