Do your own research. You may have to work by your own.

Sorry, this is not a software-searching service.

It doesn't quite work like that.
We do not do your work for you.

I'd suggest that you start with Google (other search engines are available) and see what you can find.

Superfluous and not an answer at all, maybe you should think about to write this as a comment. The only Intention I see is get another 10 author points.
No vote from my side.

I have to agree. This is just one of the multiple posts of this sort, nearly a copy of many other post like that. Most of us only right such words in comments. Why just few members think that this is a valid way to answer? A comment would be just perfect. Sometimes even a concrete query string "Let me Google that for you" could be a useful answer, as well as some general advice, but it could be at least just a bit related to the topic of the question...

I'm far away to like to start a war about this. But I also see the mutual support and compared how I fight with you to get my 40 points.

And yes, I'm still convinced, the answer is a comment (in case of doubts, compare it to article vs. tip/trick).

I'm totally against starting anything even slightly resembling a war, too. I just expressed my opinion and supported yours.

The essential part of my post is: as an example of somewhat more constructive approach to answering, I just added Solution 2. Even though it also cannot be considered as a complete and comprehensive answer/solution which can be of immediate help (I just cannot provide such kind of help in this case), it still suggests some ideas and links which can potentially be of some help. Please see.

Please see my comment to the question: this is not a software-searching service. Nevertheless, I recently faced a big domain of information related to the question. I haven't done any serious research on the topic, but I can share some links you can start from.

First of all, this is related to the concept called collaborative mapping:
Collaborative mapping — Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[^],
see also Volunteered geographic information - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[^].

Using one of the related products, collaborative free OpenStreetMap, I found some traces of the activity related to "personal travel routes" you are interested in. In particular, there is such thing as so called "public GPS traces":
OpenStreetMap - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[^],
OpenStreetMap[^],
OpenStreetMap | Public GPS traces[^].

It suggests that "personal routes", in broader sense, can also be built and processed, if not on this site or with related services, but based on the same technology. To find out, you need to study the software used. As "Software used in the production and presentation of OpenStreetMap data is available from many different projects and each may have its own licensing.", you need to study it. You can start here: Software - OpenStreetMap Wiki[^].

This way, you can dig out what's done in this field and accessible to the public, starting from these references. There is a number of other products, but I mentioned the only one based on open-source technology I know.

Good luck.

I do not vote in this case....seconds later...now sorry a 3 which is neutral should be ok, only to Show that I was here.
Sergey Alexandrovich Kryukov 11-Jan-16 17:07pm
It's perfectly all right, but you might have chosen not to vote at all (too late, in this case), even if you provide some comment. It doesn't really matter.
Do you see some problems with this answer? At least I don't claim anything I cannot deliver and think it can be useful. If some help is not comprehensive, this is not an excuse for avoiding answering at all, because any decent chance to help should better be used. If you disagree, I would appreciate explaining your opinion.

Please forget all the above at the Moment. My question: I voted a 3. Does it change anything for you (concerning rep points)? Why I'm asking this: Until now I thought voting 3 is _completely_ neutral (+-0) and so with a vote of 3 I simply Show I was "here".
[no name] 11-Jan-16 17:32pm
Now seeing the downvotes I decided to vote a 5, because the answer is not that bad!
Sorry to all the stupid "downvoters" against SA and also OG and all us, please think before vote!
And _please_ think about to do it same like me: If I vote 5, sometimes I give a comment. In case I vote below a 3 I ___always___ give a comment. Only my minnd.

Don't worry I calmed down:

Thank you, Bruno.
Nothing to be sorry about. Not all votes deserve comments, that's all right, but...
Non-motivated down-votes are regular these days, nothing to worry about. :-)
