VStudio Report Services

We are migrating our vstudio to 2010 but our sql servers are still 2005. When we open up a Report project (rdl) file, vstudio wants to convert to current version, and thus we are unable to deploy it to sql server 2005. Is there work around for this?

What is the problem in migrating, as with Visual studio you try to open older version file it will ask to convert to
current, the visual studio version with which you try to open

Update from OP: To clarify the problem is that SQL Server 2005 does not seem to understand reports generated in vstudio 2010, or vstudio 2008
