Character text compression

Hi all,

I want compress 5000 simple character text compress 200 or 500 character.
I use c# or vb.net.
How can i do? Which technique should I use?
Could you show an example?

This is non sense, you need to learn what is compression, how it work.
Nothing can guaranty you that that a given text can be compressed to arbitrary given size.

Unless you have a lot of repetition in your "simple character text", it's not reasonable to expect 10 to 1 or greater compression.
