Decompiling the .NET application files

Hello

Can you please help am task to finise the project by line manager but the guy who was working on this project before me lost the source code now i copied the compiled project from the text enviroment i want to check if is the any way to decompile the solution as whole so that i can be able to get source code to work on?

What I have tried:

nothing since its ny first time coming across with this challenge.

Solution 1

There are a few tools that will do this. google ".net assembly decompilation" or something like that. It's not going to be perfect and the results might need some tweaking but it's better than nothing.
