Hi,

I am very new to sharepoint webparts. I know how to create webpart and deploying webpart into moss, but I don't know any tasks to create a webpart. So, can anyone can suggest me a small task to create a webpart and deploying it into moss 07?

Would you be able to give us a little more information about what you're asking for please? Do you mean you want an event to create a webpart, such as when a site is provisioned? Or do you mean something like a feature event reciever to fire when the feature containing your webpart is activated on a web?

Well, it depends on your preference. SharePoint integrates itself with many important web parts to make it better. Meanwhile, you can look up any desired web part from SharePointBoost. When you want to create a web part, please go to SharePoint site, click Edit Page, and then insert what you like.
