Writing listView Items to XML

Hey there. I'm quite new to C# and wish to know how I can Read and Write items in a 2-Column listView to and from a XML file. I really wish to know this because I am creating a program that saves entries, mostly used for displaying to-do items. Help is awesomely appreciated (if awesomely is a word) :)
