Solution 1

Re-install - that should repair it.
Or if that doesn't work, un-install and then re-install from scratch.

Solution 2

Are you sure you are referring to the libraries that come with VS2005 rather than the Windows SDK? As far as I recall it was necessary to install the Windows SDK independently of Visual Studio 2005.
