Hello masters,

I have to vectorize the raster images for my educational project. I am a student of Geomatic Engineering. I need C# code for doing that. Bitmap images to dxf files...

What code have you produced so far? This is a fairly complex piece of coding, and you have already said that it's for your homework. People aren't going to write your homework for you - they'll help if you have a particular problem, they just won't do your work for you.

Solution 1

We do not do your homework: it is set for a reason. It is there so that you think about what you have been told, and try to understand it. It is also there so that your tutor can identify areas where you are weak, and focus more attention on remedial action.

Start with Google: learn something and try it yourself.

This is too serious work. All I can say, you cannot find a quick answer. Even finding a commercial vectorization without source code will be a problem. I've tried to use some commercial tools like that — all results were of absolutely unacceptable quality for my application.

If you even can achieve that with better quality, it would be a considerable achievement which you could be commercialized and potentially make good money. If you even partially succeed I wish you could hire me to help you. :-) Such tools are in high demand in various fields of interest.
