Treeview linking to movies including date range filter

Date range filter & Category filter within treeview are quite tricky. All the video responses are based on the hierarchical method unlikely to google or youtube.

Feel free to ask anything in relating to this issue.

I am not used how to get involved in this codeproject but I would like to contribute something. My aim is to allow the users to reply/comment in the video format instead of the text format. For example, the Youtube or Facebook pages do have the 'text comment' function but not the 'video comment' function. The reason I am raising this point aims to meet Deaf people's needs particularly with sign language. My problem is how to inform other developers about that.

what have you tried?

www.bslsmile.com/signingtree.aspx is one of my examples.

Any suggestions appreciated in despite the nature of this question is somewhat rather blurred.
