RenderControl vs CreateChildControl

Hi All

Out of RenderControl and CreateChildControl method : In which method we should write the logic of connected webparts.
I have read some where that CreateChildControl execute randomly. So when the provider webpart is executed and has rendered the control , on click of the event which sets the value of interface property the CreateChildControl method of consumer webpart executes before the button event handler.

Please explain.

I am not very clear with your question. Let me try, First of all you said "CreateChildControl execute randomly", I think this is wrong information. CreateChildControl only runs once when webpart is created.
Please give us more information with sample code if possible
