Sending Order Confirmation via SMS

I have successfully created a web-site that lets the user purchase products online.
When the user purchases something and confirms his/her order an email is sent to that user's account with an order confirmation. Now I also want to add another feature: The order confirmation shall also get sent via SMS on the user's mobile phone with some details of his/her purchase.

I have no idea on how to solve this, so please help me by giving me your ideas.

Hi,

Nice idea dude,I developed some addtocart applications with some mailing features
If you want to send sms to user mobile you've to buy that service from sms service providers.

In market there are so many service providers are there ,but they'll charge for your msgs like SMSs/month .....

check net for some service providers

they give you url with some parameters or API.
login into way2sms you c ther some links like...
