I run SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 on my 64 bit Weven...

I have 64 bit Sql Server 2008 64 bit and a i have windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed. But when it install the SQL Server 2008 Enterprise 64 bit. It cannot it show an error that compatablity issue. What should i do?

Check in Control panel - do you already have SQL server 2008 installed by some other application? (I did and assume it was VS2010) If so, try an upgrade rather than a new install. If your install got part way through and then fell over, you may have to uninstal and then upgrade.

No iam un able to install SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition 64 bit on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It gives an error that compatability issue. What is the right version of Sql 2008 to install on Windows 7 64 bit OS?

I believe OriginalGriff has the right idea. If I remember correctly I had to install SQL first then VS.
