My database is in shared folder. now i want to connect to shared database. how to write sqlconnection string.
here i am using that shared database ip address but no use..

A shared folder database implies a MSAccess or similar file based database.

You must first change your database to a server type engine like MS SQL Server etc.

This could potentially change a lot of your code for your application.

During last few days I see a lot of idiotic votes of "1" in many cases when an expert says "you cannot do it" or "it makes no sense" or something similar. This is another such case. I counter-vote it by my 5, because this reply is quite valid, especially considering inaccurate formulation of the question.
