I have developed an app for Win-Xp but wen i install it on win7 it says compatibility problem..

1 solution

Write it without stupid mistakes like using hard-coded path names, and it will work on Windows 7.

Generally, most problems are in permissions. Some applications working on XP will work on Windows 7 only if you run an application as Administrator, see http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11841-run-administrator.html[^].

Yes, I understand, but it's hard to say anything without looking at your code and testing on Windows 7. I've done what I could, mentioned two major reasons for incompatibilities.
