I want to bring down one of my websites

I have two websites with different domain names, the first domain was registered and hosted with Hostgator.com and the second with Godaddy.com. i want to bring down the one at hostgator and still make use of the domain name i registered with them, but i want users to be redirected to my website at Godaddy when entering the domain name that will be drop at Hostgator on the browser's address bar. Please how can i achieve this. Thanks in advance.

Solution 1

You have to go to your domain registrar and tell them to point the domain name in question at the correct IP address. They may even have a facility for you to do it yourself via a web page. In fact, if GoDaddy can probably help facilitate the change for you.
