Why don't you post such questions in Lounge[^]?

It is not a programming question.

Take what they offer. A job with a low salary is far better than no job.

+5. Excellent answer. I was thinking the same thing. For a developer's first position, take what you can get and go in with the attitude that you are now going to begin your "real" learning. School and internships really are just there to teach you how to think. Work teaches you how to apply that knowledge.

You may have guessed that I have never been in the fortunate position of being able to ask for more than was offered. :(

You are not alone in that.

depends on what job you're getting, and what your responsibilities are, where you are located, etc.

your first job is very important. it will define your future journey...so if you like your first job then don't look at the salary scale. just do it with your 100%,

best of luck ,

amit.
