I have an experimental sound experience app(in C#) that I wish to parlay into iOS. Looking to develop an app that triggers events based on sample postion of MP3 playing in real time. So for instance, the user opens app, chooses MP3, the app then scans the audio data and stores into array those sample positions corresponding with frequency changes(I have an algo for this in C#). Audio starts playing- when sample position from MP3 matches the integers stored in array, it triggers a UI change in real time.
Let's say I want UI changes to occur at the precise moment when streaming MP3 audio sample positions hit 48000, 68000, 88000 etc. What objects/processes within iOS must I programmatically access or attach to, in order to achieve this task?
