opening a .jar application on button click of windows application in .NET

I have a .jar app
and am trying to open it through
a windows application (vb.net)
on button click

process.start(E:\abcd.jar)

its opening fine But not functioning properly
where as When I open it from its shortcut
Its working Fine.

whats the problem?
Any Idea

Finally i got
I put the .jar file
inside the Application StartUp path and it works
fine
