How to provide the security to my app in android studio

i have created an android app my talking note pad in that i want to secure my app using passwords.can you provide me the code for that? and even there are the save buttons that could save the file but i want to secure the data also through that app only that is before saving it should for the password ?how could i do that?i really wanted code for that?could you please provide?

Have you considered displaying a dialog box that contains an EditText control, and then when the user types in the password, compare it to the password stored in the preferences file?

Not ideal nor overly secure, but your description did not provide NEAR enough information. You'll have to take it a (small) piece at a time, governed by your own skill set.
