Routing information in networking using java program (Netbeans IDE)

i need some suggestions from experts .. actually i m in a project network monitoring tool and i have completed 80% of my project but now i am finding it difficult for me to obtained routing information in my network monitor tool ,, i am not finding how can i obtain this routing information ...
please need some advise about this routing information... should i go for it or leave the project now... or is java routing simulator that can help in my project i have googled but not findind the proper way.. plz help by providing some liks..

You might have to explain it better. We do not care for which IDE you are using, but we need to know which kind of "routing information" you are working with and what those routing information should do / is used for.

So what is the "routing information"?
