How to connect SQL Server Database to my MFC application

Hi there , i'a a little bit confused about that how to connect my SQL server 2008 with my MFC app. I have to develop some simple server-client app on mfc, i have a already created databese using SQL Server Managment Studio, and
now what should i do to connect my database to my app, i readed some about CDatabae and ODBC but i just have no idea how to start ,first of all how to select my database from the MFC .

Solution 1

If you are using MFC have a look at on CDatabase and CRecordSet classes.
