I am using SQL server 2008 (32 bit), my client using sql server 2012 (64 bit). But when i connect my database(sql-2008) to client database(sql-2012) by remote desktop(using client ip address as server) it shows error of wrong username or remote permission.

But guys i checked that username & remote permission is ok. SO my question is that i can't connect (sql 2008 -32 bit) to (sql 2012 -64 bit) by remote desktop(version effect). Or there is any other issue. Any one who have a better idea regarding Remote desktop kindly help me.
