If learning asp.net was so easier as you think, then your employer would not be paying you so much money. Instead he would have hired people having few years of school education or would have coded the application himself...You need to work hard. You should have a passion for whatever you want to do.. If you are passionate then nothing seems to be hard.. Everything you do will be interesting...
Money can motivate you do something, but only until you get it.. Once you get the money, you will loose interest.
