Actually is not the matter seeing a design after you just decide to copy, No never! I just would like to learn what are the steps for designing? Like where to use a login button? Where to have data entry? where to have reports?

That is not a simple question to answer as everyone has their own opinions. The best bet is to study how-to's and UI design tutorials, decide what is relevant to your project and what you feel you can implement.
Here is an example for web applications: http://uxdesign.smashingmagazine.com/2009/01/19/12-useful-techniques-for-good-user-interface-design-in-web-applications/[^]

That is where you need to read the guidelines for asking questions:
2) Be specific! Don't ask "I need to write a booking application". Specify exactly what it is you need help with.
5) Tag your question appropriately.

"Desktop Application" doesn't really narrow it down much, does it? Is that a Forms or WPF, or something entirely different. Just do a google search and the knowledge will flow out from him. A term like "WinForms UI guidelines" or "WinForms UI Tutorial", etc. will help you immensley.
