Lock static IP Address on windows.

Hi everybody.

Can you help to change static ipaddress?

In my company we are using static ip address. One person is assigned with 1 ip address.

But few of them can connec to internet.

Other ip address cannot, so it required to change the static ip to access internet.

So now, i want to unlock ( cannot change ip address) for user.

Can you help unlock ip address? ( methods or program)

Only administrators can change ip address, if the user has admin privileges, than you can not prevent changing it. The best practice thus is using DHCP and address reservation.a

Solution 1

If you dont have right and previlages to change the IP Address in that case you cannot change a static IP.

Only resolution is :

Ask your network or IT helpdesk to add your IP to internet access list.
