Hi, I am new to activex control. I need to create a simple activex control that receives some data from html page and send back some data repeatedly to html page. that html page should receive the data and display it. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance ...

do you want to receive data from HTML Page or just form HTTP server? clear your question.

I think you are using the wrong tool for the job.

In most cases, it does not make much sense to create an ActiveX control.

If you want interactivity, uses jQuery (or Java Script) and partial page updates.

At least, it will works on more more browser and it won't require the user to install an ActiveX control.
