I see a lot of web based applications guiding newbies using some magical step by step instructions with visual aids (ex: click here, type this then go there and do that..)

I would like to use this in my C# winforms apps but it's kind of difficult to find information on this using Google as the term "walthrough" is all over the place... Is there an official name for this and would you know any existing control or framework that I could use?

Thanks,

Martin

What I have tried:

Lots of googling but no luck so far.

Try searching for "C# wizard control"
GitHub is usually a good place to find things like this: piksel/TabWizardControl: Simple wizard control for .NET WinForms[^]

Actually I just found the term "Product Tour" https://www.appcues.com/blog/product-tours-walkthroughs-ultimate-guide. This better describes my requirement. Your suggestion is more of a Wizard. But thanks for the suggestion.
