I want to modify a excel file(as required) which is already present in the server(Path of the file is defined) and make it download to client

Solution 1

Try EPPlus[^], it's a .Net library that reads and writes Excel 2007/2010 files using the Open Office Xml format.

That seems like a possible solution too, I've used POI for similar purposes before ...
