Any good report tool for PHP like Crystal Report?

I am thinking to build my own CRM with PHP and reporting is a big part of it. I searched around but cannot find any updated information related to this question. Any idea?

Ofcourse. Just search "Jasper reports + php" in Google, you'll get tons of tutorials

What do you mean by 'good' ?? Any specific features you are looking for ? Or just making people search for you and waste their time on the solutions you have already rejected ?

I guess you have never heard of Google.. I found hundreds of them here[^]

Easy and fast development would be the first impression that everyone can get from Crystal Report, and is there anything like that for php + mysql?

I second here...Not everyone will have same expectations from the tool....I will always prefer a tool with rich features and high performance . Performance is the most important since the reports deal with a large amount of data ( and managers hate to see the loading wheel)

yes but as a vendor, able to finish the report on tine is the most important factor. i am even thinking to use asp.net instead of php because develope timing.

Great.. ASP.NET will be a better option.. But remember, next time you post a question, post all the details you are expecting so that we can suggest a option according to your requirements and you can get a solution at the earliest.
Initially you wanted PHP + mySQL. Now you are open for asp.net. If you keep on adding the details later it will increase your turnaround time ..

If i ever wanted to post this question , I would have posted it as -

I am looking for a reporting tool for CRM web application which should be easy to implement and should be able to create reports in minimum time. PHP or ASP.NET or any other technology is preferable. Please suggest me the tools that suit my requirements...

I understand that I should give more detail but I keep having more ideas. Since it would be mostly running in a windows desktop environment, asp.net application may be an even better choice, do you think so? I think Asp.net application has better performance and database connection but lack of "open anywhere with browser" ability.

Look.. You again changed your requirements- 'Easy and fast development' was your earlier requirement. Now you have added 'open it anywhere with browser' . This will off course come with a additional cost- development and licencing both

I mean I don't need "open it anywhere with browser", and .net desktop application should speed up performance within local network and the program within OS itself, so I am thinking to pick .net desktop application instead of .net web or php. I am just not sure if .net desktop application can work fine with mysql. I choose mysql but not MSsql because MSsql would cost costomers a lot of people to buy MSsql licenses for users within the company, which is not what I want for my selling point when I try to get customers.

I agree with your last point.. MySQL works as fine as MSSQL with .NET.. No worries....If your users are within the local network, then definitely go for desktop app..

Thanks for your comment. Why do you think definitely go for desktop app? Is .net the only choice for desktop app? I was just thinking if my company luckily business grow and expand, then the virtual studio may becomes a big cost for the company. If my customers mainly uses windows xp/vista/7/8 desktop and local network, then what choices do I have? Thanks.

If your customers are Windows users, then .NET based Windows app will be the best choice, in terms of development cost and time( compared to any ...yes ..any other desktop technologies)....The other thing is that I am not able to understand what the 'virtual studio' is...
