Bind Digital Certificate to Word document programatically using C#

In my current project i need to bind Digital Certificate to word document / Excel document

programatically using C# . Can some one please help me in providing information how to acheive

this. I have my own certificates generated using OpenSSL. Please help me at the earliest.
