Consuming a WCF Service

Hi,

while consuming a WCF Service, How can we know the type of binding and type of security that a service have at client side.
I have searched in google but I couldn't get a solution.
Please let me know the concept

Not really clear...
You never can consume any service without some specification artifacts which may or may not be stored on the service...
