sharepoint extended site signin problem

Hi,
I have a site developed in share point services.i extended that site to internet.But in that site,when i am trying to signing it's URL is coming with internal site port number.
ex: my internal site is http://moss:2345/ my external site it http://mysite.com/ but it's url is coming as http://mysite.com:2345/ .
Please let me know the reason and solution for the problem.It is very urgent to me Please help me

Solution 1

Hi Have you tried to update the host header properly in iis and in central admin .

But it is not working.When i am trying to chnage host header site is not coming
can you tell me the reason for extended site to redirect to internal port number
Is it related to development or administration
and can you provide any article to extend a sharepoint application and settings need to do for mapping the site with domain name and redirections
