how to add facilities to the customer on subscription

hiii all,

I am developing a project in which the customers have to the subscribe for additional features if he wants to have those functionalities or controls(after buying the product they can add some new features to the product by subscribing to them...)
By default customers will be given default features... can any one suggest me what to do? what to use? how can i accomplish this task? i am not even understanding how to start the process..... please help???????

Solution 1

Presumably, you already have a login system - or you cannot control access in any way. Update it to include membership and roles - see Here[^] for an overview. This provides the normal mechanism for doing exactly what you want.
