How can I show my recent items in website

hello,

I have created a e-commerce website, where I want to show users previous viewed items. how can i do this? i tried session and cookies but not worked for me . please help me.

Hi, e-commerce is large topic, but in short, you should add visiteddate "datetime" field in db. and according to field value get latest visited products.
