I have to show date in gridview after typing it in search textbox so that date entered in textbox in dd/mm/yyyy format should match with date in sql database and it should come up in gridview also.
All this should be in c# sql 2008 windows application.

Normally this forum is used for programmers and developers that are stuck on a particular subject or control. What you asking is for a solution, that connects to a database, retrieves a value, compare the value and then displays that value. That's not a problem, that's a request to write an entire functionality. Please try to figure this out yourself, start hacking, piece things together and when you're stuck, then ask questions.
