Hi
I just want to know how to install the crystal 11 run time dlls in a folder I choose.
I use msm package from SAP and add it visual studio 2010 set up project to create the MSI package, but the problem is when you install MSI file, it install all the dlls in the default folder (C:\Program Files\SAP Business Objects…) but I want to put all the dlls in the path I choose while running the MSI file (even if I specify the path it doesn't put it).
How can I achieve this?

I'm not sure you can and not sure why you'd want to. It's possible that other programs would want to use the crystal run time. If the user already had it installed, you don't need them to install it AGAIN when they install your app. Plus who knows what would happen to the registry if you had your version of crystal and the user had the regular version because of some other program....it could get very messy. Why are you wanting this?

Thank you Kschuler, I don't want the user to overwrite my version of crystal reports, if I can put all the dlls in my own folder rather than putting in the default folder
