Control access to network share programmatically

When the users login to their workstation (XP/VISTA) in windows server 2003 network, there will be number of network shares available in the network for them with full permission. I need to prevent them to access those shares. I should implement this using C#.

Could anyone help me on this?

Solution 1

If you're running a Win 2003 network why would you want to re-invent the wheel?
You should setup Active Directory and control access to shares through the user accounts, this is much easier, simpler and it is built into the system.
