Notwithstanding the other comments you might find this article useful to explain interfaces in general Interfaces in C# (For Beginners)[^]

I think you are rather confused: SQL server does not have a user interface. It has an application which provides a user interface (Sql Server Management Studio, or SSMS) but it is not required in order for SQL Server to run at all.

SQL Server provides an interface to database files via various API's, is all.

In what context?

"In what context?" means "where was the phrase? What lines were around it? what was the passage it was in about?"
Without the context, it is very difficult to work out what the meaning of anything is.
For example:
"I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?"
is pretty much meaningless without the context of the film the quote is taken from:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clb6bFlgTuk
Watch the clip and you realize that it's a major threat, and the person he spoke it to has just realised he is going to die in the immediate future.

We need the same context for your one line quote - or it is equally meaningless.
