i have seen an event google_summer_of_code in a internship site link:http://www.twenty19.com/opportunities/organiser/google/google-summer-of-code-2014[^]
i want to participate in that contest,i dont know how to start the work,till now i haven't participated in any contest,i have learnt C and java languages very well and want to learn android development but i dont know what are the requirements for that contest.
is there anyone who has participated/know in google_summer_of_code?
help me how to start the work...

GSoC is a very difficult program to get into, but you are welcome to apply. You should start by reading the official GSoC site GSoC Official Site 2014[^] to learn how to participate. They don't start accepting project proposals for another month, so you have time to think about what open source project you'd like to contribute to.

Here is a manual[^] for students about participating in GSoC.
