Taking drop down menu value into string...

Hi again,

In my web page I have used a web template and there is a horizontal menu(home,contact etc etc) and mouse hover effect is applied on it using CSS and the links are in html.

Is it possible to take that selected drop down menu value in some string??
If yes, then how?

SOLVED.....Request.querystring in ths cs page and pagname.aspx?id=menu value is the solution.....:)
