how to assign a different datasource using telerik reports

Hellow all.I have two ways in which am intending to show data in my report.Have implemented one which works well.Currently,one clicks submit button and it filters then returns the data and displays it in the telerik reportviewer.I need to first show data during selected index changed in one of dropdowns.Can i assign the same table the different data returned without creating another report?
