How to put a row in gridview in edit mode?

I am binding the data table in grid view. And I am attaching the file in one of the columns of grid view. And when I clicked on the other cells of the same row the file name is getting erase.
I want the file name not to get erase.
Help me out with a solution...

How are you showing File Name? On a Label? Is it a Web App or Windows App?

They have edit update delete as per gridview .
