Hi (and thanks in advance for your help),

I have been tasked w/ replacing a rudimentary (although functioning) application that is pretty straight foward.

However, I am having issues w/ integrating the "drawing" part into a web app.

Scenario:
o using a tablet pc, the user opens a word doc, that currently has some predfined info in it.
o the word doc also has an image that can be drawn on.
o the word doc is then saved and converted to a tif file and stored in a directory structure by category.
o simple enough.

My issue is I cannot find a way to open & control (where it is saved & where it is stored) the word doc in a web app.

Using automation, I can open the doc, etc. but upon further research, it looks like MS does not recommend doing this (see )

Any thoughts, ideas, etc would be greatly appreciated.
