Crystal is usually slow to load up the first time you use a report, this is because the DLLs are loaded at this point.
You can preload the dlls when your application loads, this puts the overhead on the splash screen or whatever you've developed

If you mean the 'actual printing' then that's nothing to do with Crystal, it'll print as fast as your printer can!
