how to save data when it downloading in c#

Hi I have a download file in my program but i want when i start download, it save automatically file every a few second because i can't download all the files in one time and i want to do it later what should i do for save it like this?

can you explain the issue with your code?

for example you are downloading file but you want to close the download and some days or hours later resume that download
how should i save it to do these?
or what should i do?

What is your problem exactly? Saving the file locally or resuming the download? Maybe you should post the part of your code where you are downloading and saving the file. It will make it much clearer.

For me you explained nothing - maybe think how you would tell a customer (=non programmer) what you are doing. From your question I have no clue what you want, which tech you use or what your code could be. So put some effort in a clear question and show the relevant code you have now...
