Hi,

am developing a Windows Store 8.1 app.

I want to save some data locally in my app, so am using SQLite i created a DB and added few tables in that and i have added some data to that from Code.

Which one is the best option from the following?

1) Creating the DB from the code for the first time opening the app

2) Attaching the DB file with predefined structure in the app with in the solution folder.

Please suggest me the best solution for this.

You should always create your database from source code, so you can control updates and in general if the database was lost you would need to do so anyway.

SQLite is a software library that implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine.

I would prefer creating the DB from the code for the first time.

Thank you every one for your replies

That would depend on whether the database should be prepopulated or not.
Sure you can do that with a script, but depending on the amount of data that might turn out to be unpractical.
