problem in invoking a evc++ dll from compact c#

i have a problem in calling a evc++ dll from the compact c#(compact .net framework).i use dllimport to call the dll but it not works and error comes "cant find the pinvoke dll" i dont know to use which type of dll (regular evc++ dll or com dll). i want to use this dll fot the printing purpose which are not provided by the compact framework.can any one suggest me to use which type of dll for this purpose in compact c#(smart device application).i try dllimport to call regular vc++ dll from regular c# and it works fine but not in compact c#. can any one help to solve this problem
